Champagne Elemart Robion

Champagne Elemart Robion who makes some of the most amazing Pinot Meunier champagnes in a small sleepy village called Lhéry in Vallée de l'Ardre, southwest of Reims.

Catherine and Thierry Robion both came from a long line of winegrowing families and founded their own domaine in 1992. They named the winery after their three children by fusing the first syllable of their names: Eloi, Léopold and Martin.

They currently own 4.5ha of vineyards planted with Pinot Meunier (62%), Chardonnay (24%), Pinot Noir (8%) and the rare and ancient Petit Meslier (6%) on calcareous-clay-limestone-sandy soil. Organic and biodynamic farming practices have been quite the guiding light for this family since 2010 but they only sought the official "bio" (organic) and "demeter" (biodynamic) certification for all their wines quite recently.

All of Robion's cuvées have a crystalline purity and mouth-watering freshness - a huge testament to their meticulous care and passion in their minimal interventionist approach. Each parcel and grape variety is vinified separately to preserve their individuality and unadulterated varietal flavours.
