Champagne Sadi-Malot

Champagne Sadi-Malot

Champagne Sadi-Malot is located on the eastern side of Montagne de Reims in a small town called Villers-Marmery. In a region where Pinot Noir reigns supreme, Villers-Mamery, together with its neighbouring villages of Trépail (where David Léclapart is located), Vaudemange and Billy-le-Grand, is planted almost exclusively with Chardonnay. The Sadi-Malot family grows approximately 10 hectares of vines organically, mainly Chardonnay in Villers-Marmery and some Pinot Noir in the neighbouring Grand Cru town of Verzy.

Energetic, ambitious and passionate, Florian Villiere and his partner Cindy Malot, who returned to the family's estate in 2016, are the young, powerful driving force within the family, introducing and implementing organic and biodynamic practices, improving soil health sustainably, and relentlessly tinkering with new ideas, new techniques and various vessels and vinification styles while preserving traditions and practices of the old passed down through the generations.
