Absolutely stunning and utterly delicious for something so young and beautiful. Disgorged in 2020 (base wine of vintage 2016), this bright cherry red juice has a lightly creamy mousse and fine bubbles, with prominent aromas of fresh tangerines, red berries, and fresh rose petals. Mind blowingly floral. Lots of ripe, brambly red fruits and red flowers on the palate with a faint touch of smoke framed by a strong core of minerality and mouth-watering acidity. Best rendition yet from a hugely talented winemaker whom we have admired for ages. Bravo! Ordered this off the menu at Odette Singapore and you know, having proper, fine and delicate stemware does make a difference, as do the beautiful creations from Monsieur Royer's team, which elevated the effervescence to even greater heights. Just saying.
